What a find! stopped by on a Saturday and had fresh made spaghetti carbonara. The wine recommended by the sommelie/chef was perfect. Can't wait to go back for dinner.
Canneti's Roadhouse has fabulous, innovative food. Everything we tried was great: the white polenta fries, a pasta dish with duck and a pasta dish with salmon. Italian dishes in a non -traditional style. We would eat here all the time if we lived anywhere near. The service was super and the patio very nice.
Stopped in on a spur of the moment after buying bread at Nightingale Bakery a few doors down the street. They said our two Golden Doodles were welcome on the back porch. We ordered a glass of wine each and a main course. My wife chose the Grilled Cheese Sandwich with pesto sauce and tomato soup. Her platter came with a cup of crispy potatoes. I chose the house made pasta with puttanesca sauce. Both were delicious. The service was great. We and the dogs were very comfortable on the patio.We will go back.
A real gem of a restaurant. We were vacationing in Forestville and very happy we decided on this place. Everything was excellent. The romaine pear salad is a must try. It was recommended by our waitress and did not disappoint. It has a ton of flavor. The roasted Italian Hen with Prosciutto wrapped Asparagus was superb. We were sharing dishes, & we both wished we had our own. We almost ordered another dish to go. Purple gnocchi with jumbo prawns was also great. I'm not a huge lover of gnocchi, but the wine sauce was fantastic. Lastly- the tiramisu.. wow. I never order dessert, & if my boyfriend does, I might just try one small bite. I ate my fair 1/2 of this. So, so good! Highly recommend this restaurant.
I would like to thank the owners of Canneti Roadhouse Italiana,they made Thanksgiving dinner for my family and it was exceptional .I look forward to dinning there when it is open.Thank you again.
